The Birth of a Nation executive Nate Parker has apologized for his "narrow minded" response when assault claims from his past reemerged. Parker, 36, opened up about the discussion encompassing the assault trial he confronted in school in 1999 in a meeting to Ebony magazine.
"When I was initially met with the news that this a player in my past had come up, my automatic response was egotistical. I wasn't pondering even the potential hurt of
others. I was contemplating myself," he said.
Parker's underlying reaction to the case was viewed as inhumane by numerous and the chief conceded that he is attempting to take in more about the issue.
