“La La Land” takes the Audience Award at the Toronto Film Festival




Recently, the Toronto International Film Festival gave out its honors for 2016, with Damien Chazelle's La Land taking the top prize. That refinement, the People's Choice prize, otherwise called the Audience Award, places it into some exceptionally solid organization (for those pondering, the main runner up was Lion, while the second runner up was Queen Of Katwe). The first musical, which stars Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, has been winning over viewers for a couple of weeks now, beginning at the Venice Film Festival, proceeding at the Telluride Film Festival, and now enchanting everybody at Toronto. Now, it was at that point considered the leader in Best Picture, however now, one can say it with more refinement. To be honest, it's hard not to consider this the one to beat at this moment.
